With a relaxed dance vibe sound that at times strongly alludes to the likes of California synth-rockers Passion Pit, LA three-piece Wildcat! Wildcat! bring us a mesmerising mix of polished vocal harmonies superimposed on layers of melodic synth. However, whilst synth-heavy, the trio haven't shied away from the use of some good old-fashioned bass guitar, and in songs like The Chief, even get down-and-dirty with a generous serving of funk-laden sax. Their eponymous debut EP is currently only available to purchase on the US iTunes store, but the majority of their songs remain listenable on their Soundcloud page.
