In anticipation of their forthcoming studio album Reflektor, the Montreal multi-instrumentalists Afterlife offers a tantalising glimpse of things to come on the group's forth effort. Built around a jittery guitar riff, and the trademark vocals of Régine Chassagne and Win Butler, and peppered with all the usual baroque-pop hallmarks of Arcade Fire's work, Afterlife is an exciting follow-up to the album's title-track which showcased a new funk-laden sound courtesy of the mirror-balled production of LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy. Reflektor is due to drop on in less than a week on the 28th October, and if singles are anything to go by, it's going to be dazzling. Check out Afterlife below.
