The debut single from Brighton duo IYES could almost be of a slick electropop reworking of a Daughter track. Loaded with gentle vocal harmonies, anthem drum rhythms, and anguished guitar melodies, the two-piece exhibit a compellingly dark sound more akin to the slightly sombre nature of their debut demo Lighthouse than the upbeat vibe explored in second demo Glow. The single is available to buy in iTunes now, and is we can only hope that an album will soon follow.
